John 17 is a treasured text. In this passage, a prayer of Jesus is recorded. As Jesus steps closer to the cross, in this prayer, we learn of Jesus' desire to glorify the Father. He also prays for His disciples and those who would follow Him through their word. Our desire should be like that of Jesus to glorify the Father.
